Things Rejected (2008):
This work deals with the situation of forced creativity, well known by artists and artists-to-be. Creative thinking and brainstorming are fundamental when it comes to developing a new project.
Thereby, many thoughts and elusive ideas are discarded shortly after they have been scribbled down on a piece of paper. Soon they pile up on the studio floor. We sought to conserve and concentrate these ideas in an oversized ball. Its surface consists of over 3000 crumpled pieces of paper, 3000 things rejected before they could develop further.
Moreover, "Things Rejected" symbolizes the fear of the blank sheet, the creative blockade.
